The
Thai Child Development Foundation
is aThai/Dutch initiative set up in 2004.The Thai
Child Development Foundation (TCDF) supports children
in their development and is active in the mountains of Phato,
Chumpon province, Thailand. The most important aspects about TCDF
are: small scale, customized support, personal attention
and recapitalizing what is there allready. The work of
TCDF can be divided in two branches: Social and Educational.
Next to that there is a Supporting Roots Program.
Social Branch
In the Social branch Thai professionals support
underprivileged children individually through various
social programs, preferably in their own homes.
Educational Branch
In the Educational branch international volunteers reach
out to ALL local children, with the aim to increase understanding
and awareness. These projects are in cooperation with local
people and authorities.
Supporting Roots program
The Supporting Roots program aims to increase the sustainability
and independence of TCDF through projects by ambassadors,
volunteers and friends of the foundation, local as well as
international.
Please read and see more on this web site about the work of TCDF
and how you might contribute by choosing our eco-tourism projects
as your holiday destination, becoming a volunteer in Thailand
or ambassador of TCDF at home.
