On this page you can read more about the financial organization
of the Thai Child Development Foundation,
examples of the costs to support an individual child in
one of our Social Programs, and links to our financial books,
which are completely open.
We are very proud to mention that donations to the Thai
Child Development Foundation are used directly
for the children in the SOCIAL branch and NOT USED for
overhead-costs nor for the educational activities.
The Thai Child Development Foundation
has been set up in 2004 with the aim to support Thai children
in their development.
Depending on the individual need of each child this support
can be by means of medical support, nutrition, education
and/or daily care. Support of our children preferably takes
place in their own homes.
The Thai Child Development Foundation
is registered in Thailand and in The Netherlands and qualified
as a charitable cause. All the projects take place in Thailand
with financial support of the Dutch branch.
The Thai Child Development Foundation
is run by a Thai/Dutch staff and international volunteers.
The Thai Child Development Foundation
has a bank account for donations for financial support
of the social support programs of theThai
Child Development Foundation.
Besides that there is a supporting Thai organization on
the premises in Phato (Runs 'N
Roses eco-tourism) which offers practical help (cooking,
transportation, contacts, volunteers, hosting of guests,
etcetera) as well as financial support to cover the overhead-costs.
Our International volunteers pay a participation
fee to cover the costs of their stay and the costs to
organize their educational activities.
Management and board are working on voluntary level.
Examples of support for a child
At this moment the Thai Child Development
Foundation supports 37 children under her social
branch in the projects Medical Care, Nutrition, Scholarship
and Foster care. Your donation will support the
children in one of these projects directly.
People who make a financial donation are welcome to notify
us on which project they would like their money spend. If
you do not choose a specific project the staff will decide
which children and projects are in need the most at that
specific moment.
