Healthcare

Every child deserves a fair chance, regardless of their unique health challenges or personal circumstances. TCDF is dedicated to the holistic health and well-being of underserved children in the rural villages in Thailand.

Sustainability

Our work teaches children to become self-sufficient, contributing members of their communities. TCDF's entrepreneurial and agricultural curriculum at our forest school campus teaches valuable skills for resilient futures.

The Thai Child Development Foundation (TCDF) is a beacon of hope for underprivileged children in rural Thailand, particularly those from underserved families. Founded in 2004 by philanthropic Thai/Dutch volunteer friends, TCDF has been unwavering in its commitment to offer tailored community based medical care and education.

Our children

Our mission transcends traditional aid, aiming for sustainable change and improved life quality without taking the children out of their homes. Our grassroots community led teams closely collaborate with local schools, healthcare hubs, and village leaders enabling us to reach the hidden children in the far away villages in rural Thailand.

Though we are a grassroots organization we are implementing knowledge and systems that align with the UN Global goals through our Global goodwill ambassadors program and our SDG Friend partner projects.

Despite Thailand's rapid progress and advancements in healthcare and education, a significant gap remains for underprivileged children in rural regions. These children, often overlooked by the mainstream systems, are in dire need of specialized care and educational opportunities.

Nestled in the gateway to the south in between the gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea you will find TCDF-Ecologic forestschool campus. Unique natural surroundings feature breathtaking waterfalls, national marine parks, and hot springs just a day trip away. On our expansive 16-acre campus surrounded by river and forest, there's always something to explore. With our farm-2-fork restaurant and twenty circular learning stations ranging from aquaponics and coffee roasting to yoga and mindfulness, there's an activity for everyone all year round.
